Competition & Showing
Hosting Events
- Associations may post for the entire Spur year.
- Associations must post their monthly shows by the 15th of the preceding month they're posting for.
- Associations must also stick to their choosen days. Otherwise, they will be moved.
- Players may utilize association dates starting on the 16th if associations fail to post by the 15th.
- Members and associations may hold a maximum of eight events per month (season).
- Associations are asked to "claim" certain days of the week to hold shows. This makes scheduling events easier.
- In Hand, English/Driving, Racing, and Western/Working Equitation shows must be held seperatly. No mega shows.
- Entries must be open for a minimum of one week and they close the day before the show.
- If entry fees are charged, prizes must be offered.
- One show per discipline per day may be held. All approved shows are listed on the Calendar.
- Levels may have a max of three tests/phases. Each test/phase counts as a class but may have seperate purses.
- Purses are divided between the fist six horses in a class (40%/25%/15%/10%/7%/3%). Payouts are not dynamic.
- Entry fees are deducted and payouts are paid automatically. Tallies for each owner are calculated at the bottom of a show's results.
- Classlists have to be in a specific format (see below) and we have put together a curated classlist for each discipline which can be found in the classlist templates section on the forums.
